PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (HRTA) officially signed a cooperation agreement for the sale and purchase of precious metals with PT Sumbawa Jutaraya, a gold mining subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR). The signing of the agreement took place on August 28, 2025.

“The company and PT Sumbawa Jutaraya (SJR) have collaborated on the sale and purchase of precious metals,” said HRTA Corporate Secretary Ong Deny in a stock exchange filing on Friday (29/8).

According to Ong Deny, the purpose of this collaboration is to develop the business activities of each company.

“This collaboration is expected to strengthen our position in the precious metals market, as well as improve our operational performance,” he explained.

He also emphasized that HRTA and PT Sumbawa Jutaraya have no affiliation or conflict of interest as stipulated in the capital market regulations.

“Therefore, the implementation of this transaction is not an affiliated transaction and contains a conflict of interest as referred to in POJK No. 42/POJK.04/2020 concerning Affiliated Transactions and Conflict of Interest Transactions,” said Ong Deny.

For the record, the gold mine managed by UNTR in Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, has started operating since the fourth quarter of 2024. The concession reaches 8,697 hectares with the status of Production Operation Mining Business License (IUP OP) valid from 2015 to 2035.

The majority of PT Sumbawa Jutaraya's shares are controlled by UNTR subsidiary PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara at 80 percent, while PT Sumbawa Mineral Abadi and PT Bahtera Samudera Abadi hold 10 percent each.
