Hartadinata Abadi (HRTA) is Confident in Welcoming Plans Regarding Bullion Bank.

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (HRTA) is confident to welcome the Bullion Bank or gold bank planned by the government. This belief stems from Hartadinata's business, which works on the middle to downstream industries.

"We hope that Hartadinata will play a role in that. We also have a gold refining subsidiary, its relation to Bullion Bank regarding downstreaming, so when this agenda is realized, only Hartadinata Abadi will be ready because only we are integrated from the middle industry to the downstream industry," said the CEO. PT Hartadinata Abadi, Sandra Sunanto to Kontan.co.id, Saturday (18/2).

For your information, the government plans to establish a bullion bank or a bank that can accept gold in transactions starting this year. Bullion banks will also be able to store gold as savings.

Gold banks generally also provide credit or financing services with gold stored in gold banks.

This year, Hartadinata Abadi will continue to expand its business by adding 20 outlets. HRTA has prepared investment funds for the addition of its outlets, sourced from capital expenditures or capex, which is budgeted at Rp 50 billion.

"Currently Hartadinata Abadi already has 80 outlets, and this year it is targeted to have 100 outlets. So we are adding around 20 outlets," said Sandra.

Apart from increasing its outlet network, Hartadinata will also purchase and maintain the machine tools needed for production. Currently, Hartaditta's production capacity is 10 tons with factory utilization of 7 tons.

Hartadinata is optimistic that the Indonesian gold market will still have attractive prospects. Sandra said that the Indonesian people have been wise in placing their investments. Even before this year's Eid, Hartadinata Abadi projects that there will be an increase in demand for its gold bars and jewelery products.

"Idul Fitri is usually higher and contributes around 30% -35% to our total sales," concluded Sandra.
