Gold jewelry manufacturer PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (HRTA) has been included in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) LQ45 Index for the May–July 2026 period. This achievement comes amid the company’s strengthened financial performance in 2025, during which HRTA captured a 48.58 percent market share in jewelry and gold bars in Indonesia.
In terms of performance, HRTA recorded a 144.4 percent year-over-year increase in sales to Rp44.55 trillion. Meanwhile, the company’s net profit surged 121.3 percent to Rp978.5 billion.
This performance served as a strong foundation enabling HRTA to meet all LQ45 inclusion criteria. The IDX selects constituents for this index based on four main pillars: large free-float market capitalization, a free-float ratio above 10 percent, consistently high trading liquidity in the regular market, and strong fundamental company performance.
HRTA met all four criteria, supported by a 121.3 percent increase in net profit and rising stock trading volume throughout 2025. Inclusion in this index—which comprises only the 45 most liquid stocks on the IDX—simultaneously opens opportunities for large institutional investors who use the LQ45 as a benchmark for portfolio allocation, potentially boosting stock liquidity and expanding the company’s investor base
HRTA President Director, Sandra Sunanto, stated that the LQ45 is not just an achievement for the stock exchange, but a reflection of the market's trust in HRTA as a vital part of Indonesia's gold infrastructure.
"At a time when gold is increasingly relevant as a strategic asset, we are here with a strong foundation. With a market share of nearly 50 percent in the Indonesian jewelry and gold bullion industry, our target is not only to grow, but to become the reference standard for the Indonesian gold industry," Sandra said in a written statement on Monday (May 4).
Meanwhile, HRTA continues to deepen market penetration through strategic partnerships with financial institutions and bullion banks, in line with the company's efforts to expand public access to gold as a long-term financial planning instrument.
HRTA Investor Relations Director, Thendra Crisnanda, added that HRTA's inclusion in the LQ45 validates the company's fundamental strength and business strategy execution.
"Going forward, we will continue to strengthen HRTA's role in the national gold ecosystem, including through partnerships with financial institutions and bullion banks, while simultaneously opening wider access for the public to make gold part of their long-term financial planning," he said.
As an integrated player in the midstream and downstream segments of the gold industry, HRTA operates from sourcing and refining to a purity standard of 99.99 percent, to distribution through more than 1,000 sales points throughout Indonesia. Through the HRTA Gold umbrella, the company guarantees that every gold product is safe, authentic, and reliable.
This year, HRTA is focusing its strategy on strengthening the HRTA Gold brand, expanding its multi-channel market, deepening its retail network, and increasing penetration into the institutional segment with the goal of continuing healthy and sustainable growth.
