Bandung, March 31, 2023 - PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (HRTA) has released its outstanding performance results for 2022. The company recorded a revenue of Rp6.92 trillion in 2022, marking a 32.08% YoY growth from Rp5.24 trillion in 2021. This revenue growth was driven by a 26.83% YoY increase in sales of pure gold, reaching 7.75 tons in FY22 from 6.11 tons in FY21, as well as a 4.07% YoY increase in the average selling price (ASP), which rose to Rp880,922 in FY22 from Rp846,493 in FY21. Net profit reached Rp253.52 billion in 2022, representing a 30.70% YoY increase from Rp193.98 billion in 2021, with a maintained net profit margin (NPM) at 3.66%. Wholesale sales contributed 90.85%, followed by retail sales (7.82%) and pawnshop services (1.07%). Additionally, the company saw its return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE) grow to 6.59% and 14.72%, respectively, while the debt-to-equity ratio (DER) decreased to 1.23x in 2022. With the increased contribution of EmasKITA and Kencana products, the company's operating cash flow ended 2022 positively.

This achievement is the result of successful management strategies implemented in 2022, including various innovations. One notable innovation is the latest EmasKITA feature called BullionProtect®, which represents a pioneering security innovation for gold bars. Moreover, HRTA expanded its retail network to a total of 78 stores in 2022, enhancing its supply chain in the midstream by establishing a subsidiary gold refining company (refinery) called PT Emas Murni Abadi. This has strengthened HRTA's position as the most integrated gold jewelry and gold bar company in Indonesia, spanning from the midstream to the downstream industries.

Several partnerships with financial institutions in Indonesia have supported the company's success. The syndicated loan agreement with Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) for Rp2.4 trillion is evidence of the trust placed in the company's growth prospects by a major financial institution in Indonesia. This agreement also marks a significant milestone in enhancing HRTA's corporate image. Additionally, HRTA has received support from other trusted financial institutions in Indonesia, including PT Taspen Persero, Bank BJB Syariah, and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), which have provided gold purchase programs for customers.
